Care quality commission (CQC)
The CQC is the independent regulatory body that oversees health and adult social care services in England. Their core responsibilities include:
- Ensuring services provide safe, effective, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients
- Monitoring, inspecting and regulating services against fundamental standards
- Publishing inspection findings and performance ratings to aid public choice
- Our GP practice recently underwent a CQC inspection. The full report, including ratings, is now available on the CQC’s website
We encourage patients to review the report, as it provides an objective assessment of the quality and safety standards at our practice. The CQC’s oversight helps drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the inspection findings, please do not hesitate to discuss them with us. Your feedback is also valuable to help us identify areas for further enhancement.
